An informal Q&A will follow. \nCambia Grove Lunch & Learns\, presented by Echo Health Ventures\, is a series offering opportunities for entrepreneurs to network over lunch with subject matter experts while learning about high-value health care topics. \nBios: \nDr. Canestaro is focused on investments in biotechnology and engineering\, as well as supporting Washington Research Foundation’s grant-making activities. His portfolio includes companies across sectors. Currently\, he manages WRF’s investments in life science and engineering focused companies. His professional background includes health economic and outcomes consulting for organizations including the National Pharmaceutical Council\, Genentech and AstraZeneca. He has extensive experience with comparative effectiveness research and program development through roles with Generation Health and Correlagen in the Boston area. Dr. Canestaro earned his doctorate from the University of Washington’s School of Pharmacy Pharmaceutical Outcomes Research and Policy Program. He received an M.Sc. in medical anthropology from Oxford University and an A.B. in medical sociology from Dartmouth College. \nMatt Parmett is an Associate on the Strategic Investment team at Echo Health Ventures\, responsible for transaction execution and portfolio management. \nPrior to joining Echo Health Ventures in 2018\, Matt spent four years as a member of J.P. Morgan’s healthcare investment banking group in New York. During his tenure at J.P. Morgan\, Matt advised many of the country’s largest health systems on mergers\, acquisitions\, and partnerships\, and structured over $15 billion of taxable and tax-exempt debt financing. \nMatt graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with bachelor’s degrees in Finance\, Operations & Information Management\, and Political Science. Originally from New York\, Matt now lives in Seattle and enjoys the outdoors\, baseball\, tennis\, and brewing craft beer.
