Life sciences employment statewide has grown to more than 90\,000 jobs.\nThe life sciences industry represented $22.7 billion in total economic activity and contributed $11.5 billion in value-added activity to the state’s gross domestic product in 2017.\nWashington is 4th in the nation for attracting bioscience venture capital distribution.
