Luke’s first book\, “Hood: Trailblazer of the Genomics Age” was called a “must-read” by Forbes\, and named one of the “100 Best Indie Books of 2017” by Kirkus Reviews. \nLuke was named one of the 100 Most Influential People in Biotechnology by Scientific American in 2015. He has won a number of journalism prizes\, including the Scripps Howard National Journalism Award\, the Association of Health Care Journalists Award\, and the Society of American Business Editors and Writers (SABEW) award.
