She serves on the Regional Executive Committee for the Institute for Translational Health Sciences at the University of Washington and is the incoming Co-Director of the Northwest Participant and Clinical Interactions Network in March 2022. \nDr. Lambert’s research focuses on sex differences in morbidity among persons with chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder and improving access to care and outcomes and remote dwelling persons with cystic fibrosis. She is actively involved in both clinical care and clinical trialism related to the care of patients with COVID-19. She is dedicated to increasing access to clinical and translational research for rural and remote dwelling populations.

DESCRIPTION:Lin Tian is Associate Professor of Biochemistry & Molecular Medicine at the School of Medicine of the University of California\, Davis\, and the Director of the AggieLight Initiative. After graduating from University of Science and Technology of China\, she joined an interdisciplinary PhD program at Northwestern University\, where she studied the mechanisms of protein processing via ubiquitin-proteasome pathway in Dr. Andreas Matouschek’s lab. She then moved to HHMI Janelia Farm as a postdoc. The goal of her research is to invent new molecular tools for analyzing and engineering functional neural circuits. We also leverage these tools\, combined with optical imaging techniques\, to study molecular mechanisms of neurological disorders at system level and to empower searching for novel therapeutic treatments.
