Allergy & Immunology Teaching Series – The Role of The Microbiome In The Development of Atopy

Speaker: Dr. Patricia de la Cruz, Allergy & Immunology Fellow, UW Division of Allergy & Infectious Diseases
Weekly didactic presentations of various topics related to Allergy & Immunology (AI) are offered. Sessions provide outstanding educational value covering all areas of asthma pathophysiology, epidemiology, diagnosis, guidelines and treatment. Topics regarding basic immunology, immunodeficiency, rhinitis, dermatitis, urticaria, food and drug allergy and recent journal articles are also covered. Presenters are UW faculty and nationally known allergists and immunologists and related specialty speakers. Each weekly hour session combines live audiences with live internet audiences for a presentation and Q&A format. CME credit is awarded to all who attend live sessions. This is necessary to continue license accreditation and is also a part of the curriculum for Allergy & Immunology fellows.
