A virtual field trip for your class
In our webinar series for educators and students, go behind the scenes of science to meet the professionals who make our research possible, and get a glimpse of the many different careers in science. These free events are open to entire classes of students in the format of an interview with our staff and interactive discussion where students can ask questions and learn what it takes to do cutting-edge research.
After you register, we’ll send you a link to share with your class with links to join on Zoom or YouTube and provide reading, videos, and more material to engage your students in advance of the session. Your students will have an opportunity to ask questions of the speaker via either Zoom or YouTube.
Educators: We welcome you to sign your classes up for these free events. The conversation will be geared towards students at the high school and early college/community college level. Educators are also welcome to bring students at other levels who may benefit from a discussion of career pathways as well.
Students: We also welcome students, especially those at the high school and early college/community college level, and their families to register to attend independently.
