Constructing Your Elevator Speech, A guide to communicating your work quickly

Join fellow graduate students and postdocs to learn how to develop your elevator speech for job search or career exploration. An elevator speech is a clear, brief message about you. It communiates who you are, what you are looking for and how you can benefit from a company or organization.

We are featuring Dr. Mike Matrone as our speaker. Dr. Matrone is the Associate Director for Office of Career & Professional Development and Program Director for Non-Academic Career Development at University of California, San Francisco. His mission is to empower the next generation of scientists to make informed decisions about their career choices and professional development. As a trained scientist, he provides career education and professional development to graduate students and postdocs.

Free afternoon snacks and coffee will be provided.
