While climate change is certainly a global issue, its effects can be felt right here in our own backyard. This upcoming Climate Science on Tap: Schooner Series event hits close to home in examining projected climate changes in the Pacific Northwest. We will examine changes in our snowpack and hydrological cycles and impacts to our local marine food webs (salmon and seals!). Most importantly, we’ll consider how climate change threatens the habitat of Cascadia’s beloved Sasquatch. As always, we’re here to tackle big topics in pint-sized packages with fun, informative, conversation over a brew or two. We hope you join us!
