Science in the City: Salmon, Orcas, and our Changing Ecosystems
Wild salmon are a powerful indicator of the Salish Sea’s environmental health, and have a large impact on almost every part of our marine and freshwater ecosystems. The recent death of the Pacific Northwest’s beloved orcas was a grim reminder of this. Join Long Live the Kings, a nonprofit focused on salmon recovery efforts, in a conversation about our complex ecosystems and the latest research on salmon science.
