SEP School Year Workshop: Cancer Fighting Proteins
April 27 - 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
Join us on Saturday, April 27th, 2023 from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm to learn about our Cancer Fighting Proteins lessons! These lessons include protein modeling and an activity simulating the use of tumor paint.
This short lesson sequence investigates the driving question: “How does protein structure determine its function?” Throughout the lesson set, students investigate how peptides (small proteins) derived from nature are being studied as possible treatments for cancer and other rare diseases.
