Science in the City: Storytelling through Analytics

October 16, 2018 - 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

In the era of Big Data, how can we make sense of all the various metrics and insights that are being collected every second of every day? Visual Data Analytics makes it easier for people to understand the data, it provides a story of broad relationships and emerging trends for those who don’t have the time nor the technical expertise to understand entire data sets that are made up of thousands of numbers. Discover this new way of storytelling while taking a journey with industry experts, Rick Burtner and Nick Cramer, Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, as they walk us through the history of data visualization while finding out how we are able to make strategic decisions through the influence of metrics and insight

Tickets $5 or FREE for our Members | Doors open 6:40 p.m. | North entrance
