Seattle has often been touted as an emerging life sciences town, but a recent CBRE report shows how promising the city really is for the industry.
Seattle ranked No. 1 as an emerging life sciences hub, making it a prime candidate to become a leader in the life sciences.
According to Los Angeles-based CBRE Group Inc.’s “Markets Positioned for ‘Century of Biology’” report released last month, Seattle has “premier educational and medical institutions to drive continued industry growth.”
The city exhibits “an attractive combination of a substantive life science workforce, including key scientists, strong recent life sciences employment growth, ample NIH funding, top-ranked schools and medical institutions, and sizable high-tech workforce to support future convergence between the industries,” according to the report.
