Steven F. Ziegler, PhD of Benaroya Research Institute has been named a 2024 Distinguished Fellow by the American Association of Immunologists (AAI).
The Distinguished Fellows program acknowledges active, long-term AAI members (25 or more years) who have demonstrated one or more of the following: significant research accomplishment in the field of immunology; exceptional leadership to the immunology community in academia, foundations, nonprofits, industry, or government, at a national or international level; and/or distinction in education and teaching.
“I am deeply honored to be recognized as an AAI Distinguished Fellow,” said Dr. Ziegler. “I’ve been involved with the association for 29 years and am grateful for the opportunities it has allowed to collaborate with some of the brightest minds in science.”
